Stick you are definitely going about it the right way. If you can figure out what the pro should do at any time considering the ratios of Pro stack vs PM stack vs blinds/antes, then it becomes radically simpler to figure out how to play it vs rising blinds. You'd simply need to figure out how fast blinds were going up compared to how many hand you were playing and adjust according to how you've lowered your standards with static blinds. It wouldn't be quite perfect, but close enough for a hypothetical PM scenario.
