In Response To: why not leave things as they are? (Ken Larsen)

I can only imagine the discussions that result from this poker ranking -- e.g. Phil Ivey #271. Hopefully the system hasn't come close to equilibrium, although given how much (web) coverage poker tournament results receive, I can't see why, even if this system is in its infancy, they didn't backload it to its full time horizon of 36 months.

At least it's safe to say no one is calling it a "popularity contest".
