Profile: Who we are as a backgammon community?

In no more than 30 words per part, what is your opinion on:

The IMAGE of backgammon? Oldest game, popular in traditional form all around the world, fun, entertaining, social.

BRANDING of Backgammon? Not much branding until now. No difference made between traditional form and modern backgammon.

CULTURE of backgammon? Again, a different culture in traditional countries and modern backgammon countries

PERCEPTION of backgammon? still considered and perceived widely as a game of luck and not a game of skill.

On a scale of 1 - 10,

Does backgammon need to undergo a face-lift? 10 (big yes) if we think of it globally and donīt focus on our existing "little" world of modern backgammon players
