Not sure what to make of the numbers.

Neither am I, as they stand here. However I do have Calcutta sheets from as far back as the mid-90's -- over 15 year separation. Comparing the distributions then (or maybe every 5 or 6 years) to now might give us some real indication as to what has changed (if anything). Problem with those is I am likely less familiar with the players meaning it's harder to separate <1 hr from 1-5 hrs. But the > 5 hrs is typically obvious.

Don't hold your (pl.) breath -- this stuff doesn't get tallied by a snap of the fingers and I have a life outside of bg (as most of us do :).
