Motivation

It is difficult staying motivated without short- and long-term goals. If you have trouble formulating any that makes you go "Yeah, that would be damn nice!" and you no longer find joy in working on extending your skill set, which I am assuming is possible for even the very best in any human activity, perhaps a break would do you good or it's time to consider leaving bg as a main interest/activity behind and focus on completely different or new parts of life. Thinking about what has changed with bg and in general in life compared to when you had no motivational problems could be useful.
