That's true. In tennis if I'm the better player that day I win 99.9999999% of the time whereas in backgammon I'm the better player nearly all the time yet I win what, 65% of the time? It sucks. Some people love the game for this, it makes me want to projectile vomit. Some will say that's what draws people to the game is that anyone can beat anyone on any given day thanks to the luck factor ... to me it turns my stomach.

I love backgammon, or at least some form of it where I can have interesting decisions. I hate the results of backgammon because they're meaningless and I feel almost nobody really understands what a waste they are.
