XG’s Wrong Double Option and PR

I was able to learn more about this using the “What’s this?” feature.

With the Options and Settings dialog box open to the Analysis tab, I right-clicked the checkbox named “Wrong Double/Take is an error.” This opened a menu, where I clicked “What’s this?” The following is a verbatim transcription of XG’s description:

If unchecked a situation where the proper choice was No Double/Take, but the players actually double and the opponent dropped is NOT considered a mistake for the doubling player (but it is still a mistake for the opponent)

This is not entirely grammatical, but it seems to state clearly enough that removing the check from this checkbox will achieve the result I desire. When an improper double induces an improper pass, the doubler will not be penalized (but the passer will).
