I've never heard Bill Kennedy's and Chuck Papazian's names associated with ABPA Backgammon for Intellivision. That being said, I am very familiar with them. Didn't they coauthor the 1981 book entitled Backgammon Master Games? It would be really neat if they did have something to do with the ABPA Backgammon game, but I'm not sure if they did. Interestingly enough, the game was pretty important in video game history. Previously, the color schemes in board games were just terrible and you couldn't play them on TV. ABPA Backgammon was among the first that weren't totally atrocious.
