GNUbg vs XG as a learning tool update

I switched for two reasons:
1)XG is much faster, so I don't have to wait as long for my matches to be analyzed, and I can provide better rollouts for the really interesting positions.
2)gnu 2-ply analysis is incorrect often enough that I felt I was being steered in the wrong direction in some positions. For instance, gnu 2-ply analysis tends to overvalue defensive holding games, and so did I until recently. (maybe I still do?)
I still keep gnu around, and if I'm going to practice against a bot I prefer gnu's interface over XG, but I evaluate my errors in XG. Actually, there's a lot about gnu's interface that I prefer (it just looks a lot better for one thing).
XG is quite easy to pick up if you've been using gnu - the concepts are all the same, so while the initial learning curve for either is a bit steep, moving from one to the other is a snap.
