OLM -- next iteration

Does the addition of a human opponent who isn't the moderator lengthen the playing time noticeably? Here are the three OLM's I participate in:
GammonU (Gammonline): moderator = Kit Woolsey, expert opponent = Kit Woolsey.
BGOnline: moderator = Jason Lee, expert = XG (with Jason Lee at the controls).
USBGF: moderator = Jason Lee, expert opponent = Neilkaz. There is also an expert (post voting) commentator for the crew play -- Marty Storer -- but Jason doesn't appear to hold up the match waiting for Marty's analysis if it doesn't arrive promptly.
So, Jason, is there a noticeable difference in playing time between BGOnline and USBGF? I would think your proposal 3 would slow things down even more.
I like the status quo (1). Maybe varying the play-to score (even doing some GS and GG matches besides DMP) might be informative. Is the OLC simply a money game score version of an OLM? (I'm confused by the "someone in the box at all times" comment. Do you mean same person in the box at all times?)
I suspect this is one of those unfortunate queries/polls where you're trying to find out why there isn't more participation, and the people who answer are going to be the ones who are already showing up... That happens in our backgammon club -- we try to find out if there's a reason we don't have more people attending and the non-attendees don't answer. (Well, maybe that IS their answer -- they're not interested in playing at the club.) Frustrating.
