Baffle Box Update

I've never seen one in use for backgammon games although I've seen cheaper ones in play for a variety of other dice games. I'm curious when it is in use do the dice exit on to the backgammon board like in the video or do they typically exit in another container? It seems like it would be difficult to control the exiting of the dice when that side of the board is congested with checkers. I would think there would be a lot more opportunity of cocked dice in those cases since with dice cups you can somewhat control where the dice may lie by throwing the dice, say, closer to the bar if needed or to a specific corner. I do like the built-in trips that give the rolls more randomization. I've never seen that used in the other dice games.
