Baffle Box Update

The dice do come out on the board, and since they roll into the middle, there is no problem even where there are many checkers on that side of the board. However, if you play with a board that has very, very thin checker, you have a problem no matter what method you have...dice will often land on top.
I am a proponent of the rule that even if the dice land on top of checkers, so long as there is no question as to what the roll is, the roll should count. I can think of no good reason to waste time rolling over if the dice are clearly flat and the roll is obvious.
Yes, there are some who will argue that there are gray areas, but I ask them first to try this rule before being too critical...it's not a problem and it does save time, particularly in clocked matches.
When you don't use a baffle box, there is nothing more irritating than watching your opponent roll too hard, roll after roll after roll, and watching him throw checkers off the board or consistently on top of the checkers.
