In Response To: -1 (thumbs down on proposed dice rule change) (Ken Larsen)

There are instances where a die will land between the edge of two checkers and the bar and be tilted ... leading to controversy.

How much tilt are we talking about? What's the purpose of a clocked-dice rule anyway? I imagine that it's to avoid ambiguous dice. Is the tilt sufficient to say that the reading of the dice is iffy or is it simply not 180 degrees of flatness?
