How to roll dice through a baffle box

... about cheaters in SoCal who were slick at putting one die through the box and the other not ...
... I've found ... it's less likely that a die accidentally misses the baffle box (which requires a reroll, so a form of 'cocked dice') if I use a cup.
Here is the proper procedure for rolling dice through a baffle box:
1. Hold the dice against each other between your thumb and index finger (i.e.: thumb, die, die, finger).
2. Position your hand (the one that is holding the dice) an inch or two above the top of the baffle box so the dice are horizontal and in full view of your opponent.
3. Without moving your hand up or down, pull your thumb and index finger apart so the dice drop straight down into the baffle box. Don't take your hand away until the dice are inside the baffle box.
This procedure is easy to follow and difficult to cheat. (It is easier to cheat when a dice cup is used because the cup obscures the dice.)
Some people (apparently for multiple reasons) like to shake a cup. ... [it] allows them to use their mental energy to affect the roll outcome ...
If it were possible affect the dice with mental energy, that would be cheating. The rules should not cater to players who are trying to get an unfair advantage.
