XG font usage

Xavier can clarify if he wishes, but it seems clear to me that the USBGF magazine is exactly the sort of publication where he would want the font to be used. Software products, whether they compete directly with XG or not, seem to the target of the language you cite. I am uncertain of the details, but I believe Adobe’s PDF format allows a font to be bundled in such a way that it can only be used to read the document in which it is embedded. In such cases, the font cannot be copied from the PDF, and used to create new documents. Mike
