XG font usage

In Response To: XG font usage (Taper_Mike)

PDF files contain only those symbols of the font that are actually used in the document, the entire font is never embedded completely as far as I understand. So, for all practical purposes it would be impossible to recover the font in its entirety from a PDF file.
