Playing with this in XG (after i wrote all that stuff, I punched it into XG to see how far off the mark my analysis was) it appears that the 'race formulas' window does not adjust for score.

Changing the score results in different verdicts in XGR++, but the calculation in the race forumlas window remains unchanged. Or at least the info under the trice tab does - didn't look at the others.

One can't just use the trice number as-is if the takepoint is not similar to money play. I adjust one pip per 2 percent. Here the 'money' Trice number is 2, meaning that if the takepoint was 22%, a 2 pip lead would be borderline take/pass. But with a deeper takepoint blue can take with a 4 pip deficit.

At least that's the theory, anyway.
