Thanks, Jason. The Crawford flag changes the appropriate flags in the gnuBG and XG ids but isn't indicated on the board. I'm open to suggestions on how that should look. bgLog doesn't use cookies, but something called localStorage, a small area of disk available to browsers for storing simple key:value pairs. You can see what bgLog is storing by clicking the Show Settings button. Storing your settings means they will be automatically retrieved next time you open the bgLog page on that browser. Settings are particular to individual browsers and computers. As Igor discovered, there is a firefox bug that prevents settings being saved if cookies are set a certain way (this now fails a little more gracefully than it did yesterday).
