Papers are not exactly at overcapacity these days; my local paper is almost as thin as my excuses for losing a match. Given the precarious finances of papers, if someone, or some organization, provided it for free then it would have a much better chance. Just one column could appear in any number of papers. There are, of course, syndication services that already have connections to papers.

But instead of customizing it for local clubs, it would be more feasible to link to one web site targeted at new players and even curious non-players. That would link to local clubs, how to play, USBGF, etc. Then the syndicators just blast out one graphic.
