I'm with Neil here - equity is equity, regardless of whether you lose it via the cube or via the checker play.

IIRC, XG allows you to exclude cube errors where your opponent errs and there's no resulting equity loss to you as a result of both sides of the decision.

Where I may be in the minority is my view that cube errors are more meaningful when viewed as MWC rather than EMG. Of course, there's no obvious way to construct an overall PR using EMG for checker play and MWC for cube play.
