Understanding Backgammon Position #65

In Response To: Understanding Backgammon Position #65 (David Presser)

I don't like the position after my chosen play (2 down) but I'd be thrilled to see the cube after it. Well, maybe not thrilled, but I would take it gladly. We're even in the race and unless he rolls 33 or 44 if he hits us we have a shot at that blot on his 2-point as well as having our anchor to land on. We've got our work cut out for us, no doubt, but I don't think he'd have anywhere near a double.

That said, what the hell do I know?
