Are there any other serious candidates besides 24/16 and 4(2)? 11/3??
White is rather stripped and his most convenient spare is on the midpoint. 24/16 dissolves many of the liabilities of that inflexibility. Unfortunately the 4-point and 10-point are an inefficient combination, but Blue will have future chances to alleviate that.
