In Response To: Backgammon and Falafel hit Justified! (lenny)

I e-mailed the creator/producer of Justified, who is a friend of mine, and asked how he ended up writing this in.

Here is his response, absent a bit of personal stuff:

Art,

We chose backgammon -- and the reference to Falafel -- because I'd read a great article on him in The New Yorker, and we didn't want the story to be about just another poker website. I wish there could have been some actual backgammon played in the episode, but we were pressed for time.
