So, is your argument that exponential with factor of 2 (base 2) is wrong or that there should be correlated tallying (i.e. 2nd is worth x but two 2nds is worth more than 2x)? The former I can handle as long as you go down to 3rd/4th Consolation and 2nd Last Chance. The latter, even if mathematically just, might be too much effort. My simple system takes 8-10 hours as is. But I'd still like to hear/read your proposed algorithm.
