Small tournament without Crawford - Advice needed

Well, with the Crawford rule in place the live gammonless takepoints range from about 17% to about 26% in a 5 point match (ignoring the easy post-crawford and 2a2a cube actions), which is not that different than for money. A beginner who just treats all scores as if they are money won't be all that far off.
Depends on how far off "all that far off" is? Counterexamples:
0-0/5, Blue on roll
Us 4
Them 11 Position ID: DwAAAAoAAAAAAA Match ID: UQmgAAAAAAAE
Cube decision 2-ply cubeless equity +0.4997 (Money: +0.4997) 0.7499 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.2501 0.0000 0.0000 Cubeful equities: 1. Double, pass +1.0000 2. Double, take +1.1228 +0.1228 3. No double +0.6051 -0.3949 Proper cube action: Redouble, pass
Above, a blunder to take at the score, an easy take for money.
2-0/5, Blue on roll
Us 2
Them 7 Position ID: AwAAEAEAAAAAAA Match ID: UQmgAAAAEAAE Alert: wrong double ( -0.2043)!
Cube decision 2-ply cubeless equity +0.0556 (Money: +0.0556) 0.5278 0.0000 0.0000 - 0.4722 0.0000 0.0000 Cubeful equities: 1. No double +0.0556 2. Double, pass +1.0000 +0.9444 3. Double, take -0.1487 -0.2043 Proper cube action: No redouble, take (17.8%)
Above, a 0.204 EMG whopper to redouble at the score, an easy last-roll redouble for money.
