Picking out a CPU for a system should start with the question "What are you going to use if for?" If you are going to encode video a lot or run constant rollouts which would take a lot of CPU power to accomplish and you are the sort where waiting is difficult then go for the extra horsepower of a bigger CPU. If you do occasional rollouts then can you start a process and find other things to do while it finishes? Then maybe you really don't need the bigger CPU.
