In Response To: Will we ever see a genuine backgammon prodigy? (Long) (Bob Koca)

OK, here's a prop, for starters: I'll wager (you name the stake -- if it's higher than my squeal point, I will counter lower) that no 14-year-old or younger will meet the Mochy Challenge (average PR under 4 in ten consecutive live matches) in the next ten years. I freely admit that ten years is not the same as "never", but ten years is the best I can do -- any longer and your wager will likely expire moot, along with me.

Full disclosure: I believe this is an unfair prop, given how few kids play the game seriously. But if you truly believe that it's a "next" that 14-year-olds can theoretically play this well, then maybe this prop (or something similar) isn't so unreasonable from your point of view.
