USBGF Streaming Dream Team

Bill, I think this is a great idea. We will be streaming a lot of matches from Charlotte, and having a team working on transcriptions would be wonderful. We will have two streams. During the main event, there will be matches going on both streams every round. We hope to keep matches going on Thursday and Friday as well, for the Faster Masters and the Queen City Cup (main Masters event). It's harder to monitor on those days, but I have a dedicated staff member for streaming this year, so hopefully we'll keep both streams going for those events, too.

If anyone wants to contribute to the cost of this streaming, we have a donation link on our website (about half way down the page). The link says we need help raising $500, but our costs are actually going to be a bit lower than anticipated. Any overage will go to the USBGF Streaming Fund for future tourneys.

The tournament took an overall loss last year, and I have no idea whether we will cover expenses this year (and I'm not really worried about it). But last year, donations DID cover streaming costs, which was nice. :-)
