With out a doubt OTB I would have played 8/4 6/4 but this is analysis mode. This game is virtually at parity .Blues problem is his runners. White will be controlling his outfield for some time. Blue will be wise to mark time and keep his powder dry to give his runners a safer passage. That means playing as few into his home board as is practical, thus conserving rolls The innate value of the 4 point almost tops the best play. The truth is no one would be fretting about their PR by playing any of 15 candidates. Understanding this setup is important as WHY may still exist on the next roll. I gave myself a brownie point for getting the top play. A bigger rollout may change that but it will not change the logic.
