How do you know cube efficiency?

But how do you know exactly how much to adjust by? Is there a rule of thumb that you use? Has someone a formula or table for this?

I just did a very unscientific quick check to see how much the cube efficiency is dependent on the pip count at the 5a-4a score and can see that the longer the race the closer the actual take point is to the 'live cube take point'. I expected this as the trailer has more chance to catch up and redouble.

This testing was done using XG+. I tried to arrange the positions to be as close to the take point as I could.

5a-4a dead cube = 30.35%, live cube = 21.30%
leader 20 pips : trailer 27% tp leader 30 pips : trailer 26.5% tp leader 35 pips : trailer 26% tp
leader 40 pips : trailer 25% tp
leader 50 pips : trailer 24.5% tp
leader 70 pips : trailer 23.5% tp
leader 90 pips : trailer 24.5% tp
leader 120 pips : trailer 23% tp

Here are the positions that I chose and also the pip count, winning chances and equity difference between take/pass. I chose the midpoint between the take and pass winning chances to workout the cube efficiency.
