I struggled with this counter-priming play

I would try 7/5(2). It seems to me that our best chance is to create a six-prime of our own and trap two (or three) White checkers behind it. To do that, we need our 5pt, so why not make it now? Of course creating another home-board point slows White down by giving her more ways to dance, but I don't think it helps our cause to have White enter on our 5pt.
Besides, I'm not seeing what other play helps us strategically. Stepping up to the edge of the prime prepares us to leap if White cracks, but that seems like counting our chickens before they hatch. Similarly, hitting the outfield blot makes some sense after we have our own prime in place, but it seems premature now.
