I can't argue with not pinpointing a MET to the nth degree. As you pretty much said yourself, it doesn't come up that often. There are great players out there whose depth of knowledge doesn't go to the bottom of the well and they get away with it because that stuff simply rarely comes up. That's not what we're talking about with replies though and that's my point. It always comes up.

I could take 10 years off of backgammon and forget a looooooooot of things. I can Justin Wilson gawr-on-tee you that it wouldn't be second roll replies or the most common early blitz reference positions though.
