Of course it is not your style to complain about luck.

Your style is to disrespect MCG by pointing out that his recommendation was wrong and everyone else was wrong while you were right.

MCG, (if it was his play) would also have hit. Quizzed afterwards he might question it based on results and because he didn't think about it very long.

It is very simple to understand that he must have been very unlucky to be behind in the match @ this point. A quick look at the PR's if they were available would confirm that. Your post never gave MCG the credit he probably deserves. Having lost his first 8 matches he must have had some terrible luck, but still he managed to make the play offs of the Olympiad and cashed in the ABT event. A good showing under duress.

Many players proclaim loudly when they get one right as confirmed by the bot.

My question is: Why didn't you offer to bet MCG??? I am quite sure you would have bet Carter or Herb. Hindsight is always twenty-twenty.
