In that particular game, Montreal needed a win, OR at least 5 goals to advance into the playoffs. Montreal pulled their goalie after Chicago had scored 5 goals. At that point, Montreal needed at least 6 goals to get the win. There are different tie breakers used today. Should Montreal have pulled their goalie when Chicago had 4 goals?
