I am not sure what I would do after 6/5. 24/21 has a few things going for it: Keeping the 9 slotted, answering a split with a split, and generating some additional indirect shots against the blot on the 11 (for example, after a 21 or 31).

Some hitting numbers are duplicated, and some (such as 65) leave a lot of returns. After covering I might play 24/21 OTB, in any case, I am not surprised that it is slightly better than 9/6.
