I feel like I've been Othello-ed

Blue is so far behind in the race that even this by-far-the-best racing roll doesn't make up the deficit. The homeobard blot is staying vulnerable no matter what. 8/2*(2) is a good start, IMO.
Now I see four plays to finish this turn:
13/7(2) brings two checkers into the zone and makes a good blocking/landing point. The subsequent blot on the midpoint isn't so bad given opp's homeboard blot of his own. Besides, two outfield control points is often overkill so keep the one which does the better job of that and free the other for complementary service.
22/16, 21/15 makes a break for it with the plan of playing some kind of blocking+racing game. It does alleviate the issue of two checkers behind opp's 4-prime.
22/10 and 21/9 are similar, bringing one builder around (into the zone). 21/9 feels better of the two as it starts a point I wouldn't mind making (not the case after 22/10) but maybe leaving the better-blocked checker behind compensates negatively?
I'm going with the safe-vs-bold choice of 13/7(2), but wonder if the double escape is a better GP. (I'm avoiding the tweener run one plays.)
8/2*(2), 13/7(2)
