Cyprus brackets, progress, results?--easy fix

This is one of the many reasons we need an international federation of the players. Once that happens and so much of our resources are pooled the door is open to have a single committee and process for real-time coverage of all major events in the world, for international marketing and coordination, for a world-series or majors, and to attract great sponsorship. Right now the game is simply too fragmented and too many well-meaning and hard working individuals are applying limited resources and work to their own little corner of the world when it could be done far better on a global perspective.

I have been arguing for and lobbying for a combined, international organization for 10 years, and of course, I am not alone...all it takes is some vision, being willing to cede some degree of automony and local control (ego), and the will to make it happen.

Remember, we're not talking about Big Brother taking over our game...a federation is a democratic organization run by and for the players.
