White is Player 2
score: 0
pip: 164Unlimited Game
Jacoby Beaverpip: 161
score: 0
Blue is Player 1XGID=-aa---E-D---dDa--c-e---AA-:0:0:1:00:0:0:3:0:10 Each side will make four moves
Puzzle: From here, each player makes FOUR moves, there are NO HITS. One player, having had FOUR DIFFERENT ROLLS, ends up with BLOTS ON FIFTEEN CONSECUTIVE POINTS.
1) Since the 51 player already has 9 checkers in first 8 points it must be the 21 player making the prime2) A total of 13 advances must be made by white. The checker on 11 must stay there, checkers on 13 point must end up on 9, 10, 12, 13. A single checker on 8 must move to 7 point.
3) 13 advances implies at least 3 doubles are rolled.
4) At least 2 aces and at least 3 doubles implies that 11 is one of the rolls.
5) 66 would force the 21 player to advance a checker too far.
6) Needing exactly 44 pips with a 11 and no 66 and no repeat implies that 55 is rolled.
7) Not advancing too far with that 55 requires plays of 6/1 and 13/8 and two moving the back men.
Clever deductions, Bob. You're certainly on the right track. All are correct except for part of #7. Regarding 13/8, review your (important) #1 deduction.
