In Android I cannot make top player human.

In Response To: How to enter 2 player mode in XG mobile? (Dan Wittkopp)

How does one make the top player human. Bottom player can be toggled human or XG, but the top player does not change. Is this a bug in my version? It says Quad core and my phone is dual core.
