In case ii I have a number which is uniform on [B,1] and opponent has one uniform on [A,1]. I was supposing that B > A.
If the opponent's value is in the interval [A,B] then I win with probability 1. This occurs with probability (B-A)/(1-A).
If the opponent's value is in the interval [B,1] then I win with probability 1/2. That occurs with probability (1-B)/(1-A)
(B-A)/(1-A) + 0.5 (1-B)/(1-A) = (.5B -A +.5)/(1-A) = (B-2A+1)/2(1-A).
