In Response To: Possible Backgammon Projects (Stick)

...where the Open has been 100% payback (and no deceptive "registration fee") for a long time. CJC is able to do this because of local sponsorship. The lower events are raked, though, since her sponsorship money currently can only carry the Open. Besides, the rake of the Advanced provides some incentive for the sandbaggers to step up where they belong.
