"high rake" at Flint club?

I've played there several times when I was working (remotely) in Ann Arbor and don't recall a big rake, but then I don't remember ever actually looking into it. One thing that should soften that is the "third Thursday" evening where the winner gets a free entry into an ABT event. Since (I believe) this is typically a courtesy (to CJC) from the ABT event director, there's no actual $ available if someone decides to turn down the free entry. Still, it's a nice bonus!

As you know, clubs that have special annual prizes and/or special tournaments with prizes (and the Flint Club has two or three of these) need to find a way to pay for those trophies and prizes.
