I got a helpful reply from XG2 support pointing me to this suggestion:

. . . and it worked for me: duplicating the XG 'bottle' within Crossover -- essentially, just installing the software a second time, and running it in parallel. Assume I could do a third etc.

Not real elegant, but workable!
