Isn't driving a car that gets 15-25 mpg...

I think it's much worse than that. First off (to my understanding) the number printed on the sticker in the window for mileage is inflated -- not really what you get even if you drive at or below the speed limit (and then get run over by Stick :).

Secondly, a 21st century engine which gets 425 HP when pushed is unlikely to get very good mileage (particularly in town/city) no matter how slow you go.

It's not Chrysler's gas rebate gimmick that bothers me as much as their attitude, which is two edged: 1) build gas guzzler cars and 2) dupe the public into wasting CO2 producing fuel. Their mgmt should become polar bear bait on a soon to be balmy island north of the Arctic circle.
