As Bob Koca pointed out in this thread, I am not qualified to define these mathematical terms, and I agree with him, and I won't try. Maybe Bob can answer your question.

Regardless of how you define it or draw the line, I maintain that you are less likely to get fair rolls with the real dice we are using than the electronic apps, provided no one is cheating or you don't have a defective tool. And unless there is a huge, obvious flaw in the dice, that is very hard to detect. As dice app that records the rolls and provides the information to check its history is a further check of its accuracy. I am sure if someone takes the time to record every roll, as the folks at P40 did with many dice, 5,000 times, they will see that the individual dice all have numbers they consistently favor.

Will that matter to us much? I doubt it. Probably not a big problem and probably doesn't ruin our game. Not really an issue, and I have not proposed that a major reason to use the dice app is to assure randomness...I have given many other reasons. The only reason this issue came up is that opponents of the dice app use the fear of hacking or non-randomness as an argument against the app, and I maintain that is less of a risk than with real dice if you don't use an on-line server; if you use an app belonging to a neutral person or someone you trust, and if you check the history of the rolls to see if there are serious deviations (I will not try to define "serious.")
