I have a bone to pick with my last sentence too. Of course, Nack is correct that you cannot make an assessment of any player's abilities by glancing at an isolated position.

I really meant to say that playing the blue checkers for the three or four games to get to that score, you would have worked out your opponent's skill level and whether it was poor playing or just bad luck that caused white's poor position, and you also should have a good guess if you will get a pass or take.
