Hi Chris.

You said It would seem that XG favours future cube efficiency over immediate success.

It depends how many D/Ps and how many D/Ts each play delivers. Usually D/Ts deliver about 0.8 nett points per game, however highly efficient ones might deliver more than 1.0 beating the number of D/Ps.
