In 52S-55A-F-C we don't have a builder down from the midpoint to our 8pt as the player being doubled as we do in Neil's example.
Actually, we don't have 13/8 in Neil's example. The difference (going from 52S-55A-F-C to 64P-54S-11I-F-C) is 6/8 and 3/5(2). As a double-check, that's 6 pips, the difference between 64 + 11 (=14) and 55 (=20).
Given the blitzy nature of the position, it seems to me that Blue's loss from the anti-diversifying 6/8 is greater than his gain from 3/5(2); thus White should have a small take (or at least a closer pass).
For anyone bothered by his opponent's misplay of 64P-54S, Neil's position can be reached by 51S-64P-F-11I-F-C.
