I don't think there's any particular imperative that all streamed matches get transcribed, especially since the matches that get streamed are somewhat arbitrary to begin with. It's not as though the streamed or transcribed matches constitute a well-defined archive of some sort.

I do think that at this point, with streaming of at least the finals in major events being streamed, it might make sense to have an ongoing archive of, say ABT Finals in the Championship division housed on the USBGF site, or some other venue.

I'm generally willing to transcribe a few matches because I don't as yet have means of recording my own matches, and I appreciate and benefit when my opponent does record / transcribe -- so I figure I can 'give back' a little by pitching in.
