Actually the price structure was built with 8 prizes, and eventually 9 of the players cashed.

Before the 10th round 9 players were still alive. In that round 1 player got a bye, and 4 players got their 3rd loss and were eliminated. Those players ended up sharing the sum of 6th, 7th and 8th price in equal parts.

Btw, the odd numbers of players left in round 10, 11 and later resulted in a series of byes that caused big equity swings. Do you think this problem can be fixed in some way?
